The ideal speaker is an acoustic centered point source
The TS6 monitor speakers uses our brand new Swans Trinity units for the very first time. This triaxial chassis is able to deliver almost the entire relevant frequency spectrum as a phase-coherant accurate point-source.
Of course a 'one-way' full-range driver would be ideal but materials still do not permit enough frequency spectrum for us to work with this design.
Also, the coaxial design has drawbacks so we set our sights on designing a proper triaxial chassis.
The result is a striking precise stage presentation, otherwise only achieved by high-quality one-way full-range loudspeakers, but enhanced by the aural benefits of a multi-range system.
A near-perfect studio monitor which will, without any doubt, show its skills within any high-end hi-fi system as well.
An affinity with the legendary Swans M1 speakers can't be denied.
Swans TS6 speakers reproduce high frequencies extremely fast and convincing realistically by using the same sort of isodynamic tweeter you'll find in it's big brothers. |
The tonal transition to the midrange speaker and bass membranes strike the listener as almost
seamless and allows the speaker to present itself as a homogeneous unit. Like all Swans high-end
speakers the
TS6 contains a sophisticated crossover. For example, only high-quality foil-capacitors,
air-core chokes and metallic oxide resistors are used.
The resulting performance paints its own picture, speaks for itself, incorporating the metaphor,
