"The Swans D3.2 has two parallel-firing, D'Appolito-array, low-midrange drivers.
The advantage of this construction is the sophisticated radiation angle.
As a consequence of the acoustic center a precise spatial depth is reached, hardly
possible with any normal chassis arrangement.
The D3.2 also employs a sloped-baffle also to inhibit standing waves and improving linearity. Despite their slim appearance this is not a 'small' speaker at all.
The high power-handling 165 mm chassis with oversize voice coils and internal placed magnetic system have no problem reproducing high sound levels when driven by strong amplifiers without encountering the speaker limits.
